Meet our Director of Audiology, Dr. Abigail Sweeney
Dr. Abigail Sweeney is a native of Louisville. She attended Eastern Kentucky University where she majored in Communication Disorders graduating magna cum laude. Dr. Sweeney obtained her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Louisville, School of Medicine in 2009. She is a Past Vice President of the Kentucky Academy of Audiology and is also an active member.
Dr. Sweeney joined the practice in January 2016 after working for a hearing aid manufacturer as an account manager. While working for the hearing aid manufacturer, she trained audiologists how to fit premier hearing technology and would also work with patients during the fitting process. Prior to working for the hearing aid manufacturer, Dr. Sweeney worked clinically treating hearing loss and vestibular disorders.
Providing excellent patient care and offering state of the art hearing technology is a commitment Dr. Sweeney has to her patients. Her focus is on best practice and developing relationships with her patients as she understands once you become a hearing aid patient, you are a lifelong patient.
